The 1st Car Modelling Junior World Championship was held in the Czech Republic, Prague 9 district ARENA SPARTA stadium, in August 16th to 20th, 2016, hosted by IYRCA (The International Youth R/C Models Association), with the support of Mayor of Prague 5 district, Ministry of education ČR deputy, Czech-China chamber of mutual cooperation, RCAČR president, Sino-czech economy trade and cultural exchange association, Car Modelling Association of China (CMAC).
From around the world there were nearly 20 countries and regions, the number of participants reached 300–400, the competition is the largest international junior car model competition in recent years, its influence covered in many countries around the world.
The competition includes four world car model events: 1:10 EP Touring Car STOCK, 1:10 EP Touring Car MODIFIED, 1:14 EP Onroad Car STOCK, 1:10 EP Formula One MODIFIED.
Czech has the ability of organization and operation and mass base in junior car model sports and events. The 1st Car Modelling Junior World Championship, held in the Czech Republic has great significance, especially in promoting the development of the model of remote control vehicle in the world, providing a platform for international exchange for young people around the world, gathering of young people to practice together and enjoy the challenging fun, enhancing the level of competition, the level of competition and the level of mass participation.
