The number of runs in individual sections of the championship may vary based on the number of registered competitors. This will be specified on Thursday at the latest.

The opening ceremony will be held on Thursday. Closing ceremony together with the announcement of the winners will be held on Sunday after the finals.

Program might be changed according to the current situation.

Competition rules

  • The competition will take place on a carpet (black ETS) in the size of 35 x 20 meters.
  • Till end of the registration the number of competitors in both Stock categories is limited. For category A 1:10 EP Touring Car Stock the maximum number of competitors is only 80 children. For category C 1:14 EP Onroad Car Stock the maximum of competitors is 70 children. Each competitor is allowed to register only one Stock category.
  • Age categories – U13 (children born on 9th August 2004 and later), U16 (children born on 9th August 2001 and later), U19 (children born on 9th August 1998 and later).
  • Competitors are obliged to present their models for technical inspection before each run (also before free practice).
  • Models must be assembled in a manner preventing damage to the carpet. Each competitor must inspect the model from the RTR set before the first run and grind smooth the chassis edges. Instructions and sandpaper will be provided by the technical inspection.
  • All races will last 5 minutes.
  • Charging batteries is allowed only in LiPo safety bags.
  • Each competitor is obliged to marshal after finishing a run according to his assigned start number. Unexcused absence from marshaling will result in the discarding of the best result achieved in the given part of the race.
  • The final groups will consist of 10 competitors. The last final group will have either 11 or 5 competitors depending on the number of drivers in the given category. Drivers from the previous final will be added to groups consisting of 5 drivers.
  • The competitors will have three start numbers on the model car for the qualifications and for the finals – on the windshield, right side and left side.

Technical rules

A – 1:10 EP Touring car STOCK category

  • Uniform chassis, electronic equipment, RC set, tires, body, etc. – all provided in a RTR set by the organizer during registration.
  • No adjustments to the models or electronic equipment beyond regular repairs and maintenance are permitted. All model components must be original. Model spare parts will be available from the organizers.
  • Batteries may be charged by 2C only.
  • Maximum batteries voltage before the race is 8,44V.
  • Tires will be uniform – type GQ 28R. The competitor will receive a set during registration. An additional set may be purchased from the organizers. Number of used sets during qualification and finals will be limited.
  • The minimum ride height of the model including its body is 5 mm.
  • Solely for U13, U16 and U19 age categories.

 

B – 1:10 EP Touring car MODIFIED category

  • No restriction on chassis, electronic equipment, body, etc. – each competitor will bring his model to the race.
  • Tires will be uniform – type GQ 28R. The competitor will receive a set during registration. An additional set may be purchased from the organizers. Number of used sets during qualification and finals will be limited.
  • Minimum ride height of the model including its body is 5 mm.
  • Rear wing has to fit into standard IFMAR/EFRA dimensions. Wing cannot be higher than roof of the car.
  • Minimal car weight is 1350 g.
  • Solely for U13, U16 and U19 age categories.

 

C – 1:14 EP Onroad Car STOCK category

  • Uniform chassis, electronic equipment, RC set, tires, body, etc. – all provided in a RTR set by the organizer during registration.
  • No adjustments to the models or electronic equipment beyond regular repairs and maintenance are permitted. All model components must be original. Model spare parts will be available from the organizers.
  • Batteries may be charged by 2C only.
  • Maximum batteries voltage before the race is 8,44V.
  • Minimum model ride height including its body is 5 mm.
  • Solely for U13, U16 and U19 age categories.

D – 1:10 EP Formula One MODIFIED category

  • No restriction on chassis, electronic equipment, body, etc. – each competitor will bring his model to the race.
  • Motor 21.5T, motor timing without limitation. Speed Controller in the Zero Boost mode – “Blinky Mode”. Only Speed Controllers without remote timing changing are allowed.
  • Tires will be uniform – type GQ. The competitor will receive a set during registration. An additional set may be purchased from the organizers. Number of used sets during qualification and finals will be limited.
  • Minimum model ride height including its body is 4 mm.
  • Solely for U13, U16 and U19 age categories.

 

Additional information

  • Registration is done through the championship’s website – iyrca.com
  • AMB timing system (rc4) will be used. Each model must be equipped with a personal transponder. If a competitor does not possess a transponder and fails to provide a transponder number during registration, one will be loaned to him against a 100€ refundable deposit.
  • Online results will be posted on the iyrca.comand www.myrcm.ch website.
  • Refreshments will be provided in the sports hall.
  • Tables, chairs and an extension cable will be provided in the pit area.
  • Onsite sale of spare parts for the RTR models, tires and other regular model merchandise.
  • Hall entrance will be open from 8:00 a.m.
  • Entry fee (registration fee)
    • 50€ for starting in a MODIFIED category
    • 50€ for an additional start in the MODIFIED category with own model
    • 100€ for starting in the STOCK category where a model will be provided
